Marissa K. Fitzpatrick is an associate of Handwork, Kerscher & Pfost, LLP. Her principle areas of practice include trust and estate planning, probate and trust administration, business formation and succession planning.
Ms. Fitzpatrick attended college at Ohio University in Athens Ohio before returning to the area to attend law school at the University of Toledo, College of Law. While in law school, she was the President of the Women’s Law Student Association and a certified legal intern for the Lucas County Common Pleas Prosecutor’s Office and the College of Law Domestic and Juvenile Law Clinic. After graduation she was admitted to practice law in Ohio and practiced primarily in the areas of elder care law (Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, and nursing home planning) while also practicing asset protection and estate planning. She is also accredited with the Veteran’s Administration. In 2019, Ms. Fitzpatrick joined the law firm of Handwork, Kerscher & Pfost, LLP and has expanded her practice to more probate and administration matters since.
Ms. Fitzpatrick was born and raised in Perrysburg Ohio, with family ties to the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area. She spends most of her free time with her rescue dog named Yogi.
