We have chosen to remain a small firm in order to provide the highest quality legal services to our clients in a personal and timely manner. We feel a client is best served when the client receives timely and personal service and is kept current on the status of his or her pending matter. We strive to meet these objectives by providing advice through the attorneys most qualified to handle the matter.
COVID-19 NOTICE: To our valued clients and friends,
As I am sure you are aware, Governor DeWine issued a Stay at Home Order effective 11:59 pm Monday, March 23rd through April 6, 2020. Legal services are considered an “Essential Business” under paragraph 12(u) of the Order and, as such, we will remain open for business, subject to the limitations below.
We take the health and safety of our employees, clients, business partners, families, legal community, and community at large very seriously. We will be maintaining normal office hours, but we will have limited staff and attorneys present in the office at any given time. Those of us not in the office will be working remotely. We expect to return calls and emails with the same promptness we always have but if there is a slight delay, please bear with us. If there is a matter you prefer to discuss with an attorney face-to-face, we will be offering Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime to conduct such meetings. We encourage you to take advantage of these options. Of course, telephone conferences remain available as usual. For the health and safety of all, we will not be conducting in-person office meetings unless absolutely necessary.
If you have information to deliver to, or retrieve from, our office please consider using fax, email, ordinary mail, or courier service where possible and we will do the same. If those methods of delivery do not accommodate your needs, please contact us so that we can discuss options for timing and delivery of materials. In all cases, please call our office prior to stopping by so that we can ensure someone is available to assist you.
During these difficult times, please understand that employees and staff will be implementing social distancing and limiting personal interaction. This, of course, is not meant to be discourteous but, rather, to do our part to prevent the spread of infection.
If you are scheduled for a hearing or other Court appearance, please email your attorney or call the office prior to traveling to Court. Many Courts are closing or conducting business remotely. We will notify you of any continuances as soon as we learn of them.
If you have recently traveled, have a fever, or are otherwise exhibiting signs of illness, please notify your attorney so that in-person Court hearings and meetings may be continued as needed. The Courts are understanding and open to utilizing telephone pre-trials and hearings where possible, and, if needed, continuing pre-trials and hearings to future dates.
We value the trust you place in our firm and appreciate the opportunity to continue working on your behalf during these unprecedented times.
